I’m Chloe, a professional personal tutor with a passion for learning that I love to share — I’ve been told my tag line should be “let’s find out!” I’ve been tutoring test prep, English and math for six years and gotten some great results. I really enjoy what I do and strive to make a positive difference in my students’ lives.
“Taking the extra time and effort to find Chloe was worth it. She is professional, personable, competent and nurturing. We are glad to be working with her.”

“As you already know, I took the SAT on August 24th. The scores came out yesterday, and I am pleased to inform you that I got a perfect 1600. Thank you for being a great teacher and fixing my mistakes so quickly. You guided my strategy in the right direction.”

I’m a native Austinite, but I lived in New York while I got my Bachelor’s in comparative literature (and minored in linguistics) at NYU. After I graduated I moved back home to Austin and got my Masters in global policy studies at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT. Now I’m in Fort Worth, with an MBA I picked up along the way (also from UT Austin) — apparently I can’t stay out of school for long.
As the oldest of three kids, I’ve been teaching informally for as long as I can remember. I also volunteered with Austin Partners in Education, where I worked with middle school students on reading and writing.
In 2013, I started tutoring to help pay for my wedding and discovered I was really good at it and enjoyed it. Since then, I’ve honed my skills and developed my curriculum to best serve my students and maximize their score potential.
I love to explore the world with others and help those around me discover an enthusiasm for learning that can make life so rewarding. I look forward to working with you and seeing what we can find out!
